Things to Do
The Exumas and George Town offer lots of activities for "kids" of all ages. Snorkeling, diving, biking, fishing, kayaking, sailing, shelling, camping, eco tours, island tours, cultural tours and relaxing are some of the few things offered.

Fishing Regulations

Fishing gear is restricted to hook and line and you cannot carry more than 6 rods at a time. Permits can be obtained from Customs officials at all ports of entry.
Bag limits are as follows:
Lobster or Crawfish: Six tails per person, minimum size carapace 3 3/8" or tail length 6". Egg-bearing females are protected and no lobster can be harvested from April 1-July 31.
Conch: Limit is 10 per person, conch must have well formed lip.
Stone Crabs: Minimum claw size 4", harvesting of females illegal, cannot be harvested June 1-October 15.
Turtle: Illegal to import, legal to eat in Bahamas
Spearfishing: Hawaiian sling only approved spearfishing device, no use of scuba gear or air compressor allowed to harvest any marine animals, spearfishing not allowed within 200 yards of coast of Out Islands. Spearing or taking marine animals by any means is prohibited within national sea parks.

Arriving by Boat
Ports of entry are located at all major islands. Visiting boaters must clear Customs and Immigration at the nearest Port of Entry. Fly the yellow quarantine flag as you enter port and notify Customs of your arrival. Only Captain of the boat can leave the boat until the vessel is cleared. Everyone must have passport and fill out an immigration card. All boats entering the Islands of the Bahamas are required to pay a single entry fee of $100- this will cover the cruising permit, fishing permit, Customs and Immigration charges and the $15 per person departure tax (up to 4 people).

Exuma Land & Sea Park
The Exuma Land & Sea Park is 2 weeks away by seakayak. Starfish does not provide a service to pickup boats from the park. Most of the things you would see at the Land & Sea Park you can see in that areas where Starfish runs their trips.
