ECO-TOURS

All Trips are about 3-4 hours in length by motorboat and are suitable for all ages and skill levels. Trips are offered daily, and can be customized. Maximum of six to eight persons per trip.

Marine Adventure Trip
This trip visits mangroves and two or three reefs or fish viewing sites. Learn about the reefs, coral, and fish life. Look for barracuda, grouper, angel fish, rays and all sorts of tropical fish. Colorful and exotic. Guide, snorkeling gear and snack included.

Harbor Eco/Naturalist Tour
Explore numerous cays and islands in Elizabeth Harbor. Learn about the marine environment & the structure of the Bahamas which leads to numerous caves and Blue Holes. See mangrove forests, bonefish flats, and learn about sea life and vegetation in the Exuma Cays with our knowledgeable guides. Snack and literature included.

Secrets of Crab Cay
This interesting tour includes a viewing of the wreck of the Exuma Pride, the Mangrove River, Sting Ray Bay, sea caves, and the circumnavigation of the largest and most interesting island in Elizabeth Harbor. The highlight of the trip is a short hike up to the stone ruins of the Loyalist Governor of the Exumas, William Walker. You'll hike through his famous botanical garden, where he planted breadfruit purchased from Captain William Bligh, famous for the "Mutiny on the Bounty", with one of our trained guides. Snack and literatrue included.

New! Stocking Island Hike

Join us on an adventure around Stocking Island. Your adventure begins with a short boat trip over to Stocking Island and Hamburger Beach. We will hike an excellent nature trail on Stocking Island which leads to a beautiful beach where guests can see stromatolites, the oldest living organism in the world- over 3.5 billion years old. Only here and one spot in Australia do these organisms live. On the ocean side of Stocking Island you can comb the beach for some very exotic shells to carry home. After a climb up to the monument with the best view of George Town and Elizabeth Harbor (don't forget your camera!) we will go to volleyball beach and KB's for a conch burger and soft drink*. After looking for the famous "starfish" of the Exumas, we will head back to town.
